Description
Frisach Sang de Corb is a red wine made from Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Peluda and Cariñena grapes from the Dellà del Riu estate.
These vineyards are more than 65 years old and are composed of stony clay-limestone soils, which partly determine the flavour of these fruits. It is an example that pays homage to those who fought in the battle of the Ebro. It is classified as intense, due to the particularity and fullness of its flavour.
Elaboration
The production of Frisach Sang de Corb wine begins with the cultivation of the different types of grapes in the same vineyard, as was done in the past. For this phase, we try to use ecological techniques that protect the environment and do not alter the flavour and aroma of the grapes.
Harvesting is also carried out using traditional techniques, selecting each of the grapes to ensure that they are at the optimum level of ripeness. The grapes are then fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel barrels, after which they are aged for 12 months in 300-litre barrels.
Taste
The Frisach Sang de Corb wine is a powerful and structured wine, which leaves a silky touch on the palate that classifies it as elegant. In aromas, the presence of red fruits and violets, and some toasted tones are usually noticed.
