Description
The champagne Camille Savès Blanc de Noirs Les Loges Grand Cru is a single varietal sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir coming from a single vineyard of 0.47 hectares, with vines that are about 40 years old. This wine is meticulously crafted in the Bouzy Grand Cru region, known for its exceptional terroir.
Winemaking
Vinification begins with the harvesting of ripe, selected grapes directly from the vineyard, followed by gentle pressing to extract only the best must. The first fermentation is carried out without adding commercial yeasts in oak vats and without completing malolactic fermentation, preserving the purity and complexity of the fruit. Subsequently, the wine rests on the lees for 7 months before bottling. Ageing is carried out at a constant temperature and in underground chalk cellars for a minimum of 36 to 48 months on the lees in the bottle before disgorging. The final dosage is 4 grams per litre of sugar (Extra Brut).
