They produced a pure Gouveio/Godello in 2019 that in 2023 was produced as the 2023 Ururabo, fermented in Sherry casks where the wine developed a thin layer of flor that gives it a spicy twist. It's dry, not fortified and bottled after one year under the flor to develop a specific profile they like after many experiences. It's very different from the 2019, which was wild and had some skin contact; this is from direct pressing with the full lees in bota, where it had reductive-oxidative aging. It has an unusual nose—it's not Sherry, and it's not Jura either—and the effect of the flor is yeastier and less spicy. It was a natural flor (in 2019, they inoculated flor from Jerez), from the natural yeasts in the north of Portugal. It will be interesting to follow how this develops in bottle. It was put into half-liter bottles in February 2024.
