They also started making vintage-dated white Ports, like the 2012 White Colheita Port, bottled in 2023. The wine is a bright amber color and is starting to look like an old red. But the wines have more elegance and freshness (it has more acidity), while they also go for lower sweetness, avoiding cloying characters and heaviness. This has 64 grams of sugar, on the drier side of things, but what's more important to me, it has terrific balance. It's elegant, serious and, I was going to write... dry. 5,000 bottles produced.
