Description
Martivilli Verdejo is a white wine from Rueda, produced by the Ángel Lorenzo Cachazo winery. This winery was founded in 1988 in Pozaldez, Valladolid. The wine is a single varietal Verdejo (100%), coming from own vineyards located between 700 and 800 metres above sea level. The region is characterised by a Mediterranean climate with continental influences, with cold and long winters, hot and dry summers, and a large thermal oscillation that favours the balance between sugar and acidity in the grapes.
Taste
In terms of flavour, Martivilli Verdejo has a straw yellow colour with greenish glints, clean and bright. On the nose, notes of green fruit, apple, pineapple, hay and banana are perceived, giving it a high aromatic intensity. On the palate, it is a balanced wine with a good structure between acidity and bitterness. It is fresh and enveloping, with a finish reminiscent of wild herbs. This combination of characteristics makes it an ideal choice for pairing with appetizers, fish rice dishes, grilled white fish or fish in sauce, cooked seafood and smoked foods.
