Description
Guiborat Téthys Grand Cru Extra Brut is an exceptional champagne that stands out for its purity and elegance. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay, this Blanc de Blancs comes from a meticulous selection of grapes from the Grand Cru Villages of Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry. The main vintage comes from the current year, complemented by 32% of reserve wines, blending vintages from as far back as previous years, which adds complexity and depth to the wine.
Winemaking
The production of Guiborat Téthys Grand Cru Extra Brut follows a careful process that begins with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, the wine matures on fine lees for 7 months in the same tanks, before being bottled for secondary fermentation. This champagne rests on the lees for 22 months, culminating in a slight addition of sugar of 1.5 g/l (Extra Brut) to balance its profile.

Guiborat Téthys Grand Cru Extra Brut is characterised by an enveloping taste, offering a rich and pleasantly aromatic taste experience. On tasting, fresh and generous notes of green apple, lemon and pink grapefruit are revealed, complemented by subtle nuances of hazelnut and fennel. This flavour profile, together with its refreshing acidity and exceptional potential, makes it a truly exquisite and memorable champagne.
