Coming from the region of Manzaneda, the red 2019 Azos da Vila is dark and a little cloudy, earthy and with some rusticity. It was produced with grapes from ancient vineyards planted with Mencía, Mouratón and Merenzao that can represent 70% of the volume and then some Alicante Bouschet, Gran Negro and Palomino. There is a volatile whiff here and some notes of apple skin intermixed with notes of herbs and acid berries. It has a contained 12.5% alcohol and fine tannins. 51,84 bottles produced.



The wines made by Laura Lorenzo at her winery in Manzaneda stand out for their personality, and because they transmit the essence of the biodynamic agriculture with which the grapes are harvested, as well as the artisanal process of fermentation and subsequent bottling.
The Atlantic climate and the granitic soils where the old vines of all the variety of grapes with which the Azos Da Vila Manzaneda wine is prepared grow, give it that fruity flavour that stands out thanks to the maceration and fermentation process that is carried out afterwards, and which gives it that unforgettable tannin, aroma and flavour.


This wine comes from a variety of Garnacha Tintorera, Mencía, Merenzao, Gran Negro and Mouratón grapes, which are grown in a granitic clay soil of Galicia, and are harvested by hand and destemmed. It is fermented for 20 days with indigenous yeasts and aged for 10 months in open French and chestnut oak barrels.


This is a light, quiet crianza red wine, which has a deep, intense and complex flavour. Some apple, leather and herbal notes can be sensed, as well as fine tannins. It is a juicy wine with a fruity taste. It is recommended to accompany red and white meats, as well as cured cheeses and vegetables.

We recommend decanting for one hour and serving at 18°C; it is perfect to accompany red meats in family or business lunches!
