Description
The orange wine Chasser Le Brouillard is an exquisite creation of Stéphane Cyran, originally from the Lorraine region of France. This wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris grapes. The Chardonnay grape is known for its versatility and ability to adapt to different climatic conditions, while the Pinot Gris brings a unique fruity and floral flavour.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested from a plot planted on grey marl soils, located in the north of Alsace. After harvesting, the grapes are macerated together for 15 days in their clusters before being pressed. The wine is then transferred to vats for 9 months of ageing.
Taste
Chasser Le Brouillard is a wine that delights with its bright and spicy aromatic profile. This wine has soft tannins and a taste that invites you to enjoy it, similar to the cosy feeling of a dimly lit room on a windy day. Although it is a fleshy wine, its acidic structure gives it a distinctive flavour, making every sip a delicious and memorable experience.
