The orange wine Cascina Tavijn Bianca is an authentic expression of the Italian hills, where the winemaking tradition has been handed down from generation to generation. This wine is composed mainly of Cortese and Chardonnay varieties, with a small addition of Moscato from a friendly vineyard. The production of this wine is a reflection of the passion and respect for the land and the vine.
Winemaking
After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and spend a week in contact with their skins, a process that gives the wine complexity and character. The wine then rests for nine months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled unclarified and unfiltered.
Taste
Cascina Tavijn Bianca is a wine that reveals its character over time. At first, it may seem a little rough, but when you let it breathe, it unfolds its full personality. Spicy notes of pepper and ginger are perceived, accompanied by a slight fizz on the palate. As the wine reaches the ideal temperature, fruity tones of lemon zest, candied oranges and apple are revealed.
