The NV Brut Grand Réserve Grand Cru is a pure Pinot Noir from Bouzy. It's pure, fresh, fine and aromatic on the nose and round and delicate on the palate. The fruit-intense finish is chalky-mineral and stimulatingly fresh in its salty finesse and elegant yeastiness. Nice lemon juice flavors give an extra kick of refreshment. This is a picture-book NV Brut. No indication of disgorgement given. Tasted with Jean-François Clouet's German importer in Bremen.

Description
The champagne André Clouet Grande Réserve Grand Cru is a liquid jewel that comes from the prestigious region of Bouzy, renowned for its high quality wines. This champagne stands out for being a Blanc de Noirs, made exclusively with the Pinot noir variety.
Elaboration
Its elaboration process is meticulous and traditional, using an old high and vertical press that obtains fine and balanced musts. These musts are taken to small vats where they undergo alcoholic fermentation at temperatures between 16ºC and 18ºC, and the malolactic fermentation at 18ºC. The wine is aged in the family's cellars, at a depth of 10 metres, for 36 months, with manual stirring and disgorging.
Taste
The bright golden colour of this champagne is an invitation to discover its secrets. On the nose, light citrus notes mingle with hints of red fruits typical of Pinot noir. On the palate, it has very fine, elegant bubbles, well-integrated acidity and a creaminess and weight on the palate that makes it long and persistent.
