Description
Radikon RS, produced by the Radikon winery, this red wine is distinguished by its fruity, fresh and deep character. Its composition is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Pignoli, two varieties that give it a perfect balance between body and flavour.
Winemaking
After manual harvesting in 20kg boxes, a spontaneous fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, with a 15-day maceration of the skins in oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine is aged for approximately 18 months in old oak barrels, without the addition of sulphites.
Taste
Radikon RS has an aroma reminiscent of Gamay wines, with hints of forest floor. As the wine oxygenates, rich fruity aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry emerge. This is a red wine with medium-high acidity and moderate tannins.
Radikon SlatnikRadikon Slatnik is an exquisite representation of the winemaking tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. This orange wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Tocai, two grape varieties that complement each other to offer a unique palate experience.
Winemaking
During the winemaking process, the must ferments with indigenous yeasts and macerates for 12 days on its skins, giving it an unparalleled richness and complexity. Despite its complexity, it has a good acidity that makes it very easy to drink.
Taste
Radikon Slatnik is distinguished by its amber colour. On the nose, it reveals notes of orange and subtle hints of dried apricot, characteristic of the winery. The finish is lingering, with hints of honey and minerals, which evolve subtly but steadily. It is a wine that, although it can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, pairs perfectly with aged cheeses, spicy sauces, fatty fish and curries.
