Description
Mee Godard Moulin À Vent Au Michelon is a wine that stands out for its elegance and complexity. Made on the prestigious Moulin-à-Vent appellation, it is located on a plot in the north of this region, at an altitude of 400 metres, facing south/southwest. The soil of this plot is composed of decomposed pink granite and sand, which gives the wine its unique characteristics. The first vintage from this plot was in 2016, and since then, Mee Godard has perfected its winemaking to offer a high quality product.
Winemaking
This wine is made of 100% Gamay grapes. As for its production and ageing, the process begins with a manual harvest to ensure the selection of the best grapes. Subsequently, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The ageing is carried out in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months, which gives it complexity and a refined structure.

Mee Godard Moulin À Vent Au Michelon seduces with an aromatic bouquet that includes notes of sweet berries, cherries, spices, rose petals and orange peel. On the palate, it is a medium to full-bodied wine with a smooth, well-structured texture. Lively acidity and finely refined tannins contribute to a complex and balanced taste experience. The finish is saline and elegant, adding a distinctive and lingering touch. This wine not only shows great ageing potential, but also reflects the sandy terroir of its origin, offering a sophisticated and memorable tasting experience.
