Bota de Gin 81 "Bota NO" is a complex and elegant gin, perfumed, with a very subtle sherry character. It has its origin in a very fine distilled alcohol, London Dry Gin style, with a marked citrus and juniper berry character, subsequently aged for almost four years in a single fine wine cask at the same strength at which it has been bottled. The result is not only a symphony of aromas and flavors, but also a very smooth mouthfeel that makes one think of a delicate manzanilla pasada rather than a distillate. An exceptional gin. We know of no other like it, or even remotely resembling it.
or the maturation of this magnificent gin, in early 2014 several cellar butts were selected that had been used for more than forty years to age fino de Jerez. One of them is the one that has been almost completely emptied for the present edition of the "La Bota" series. It is therefore an exclusive product, which will last as long as it takes for the little more than six hundred bottles that exist of the single cask that has been emptied to create this edition to disappear.
