The 2022 Falcoeira Branco comes from the young field blend—Godello, Doña Branca, Palomino and others—they planted in this historical place, only 0.45 hectares on granite soils at 400 meters above sea level. It fermented in 225- and 500-liter barrels, where it matured for 10 months. This is a wine where you see the potential of the place, a relatively young vineyard strongly marked by the place (as I see in the red, which in 2022 excels). It has 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.4 and 5.3 grams of acidity. While the nose is still young and undeveloped, the wine has superb intensity in the palate, with effervescent minerality. 1,014 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024.

Description
The Falcoeira Branco wine comes from a small vineyard of 0.45 hectares, where a mixture of red and white grape varieties are grown. Among the main varieties we find Godello, Doña Branca, Treixadura, Palomino, and others that bring a great complexity to the wine.
Winemaking
Fermentation and maturation took place in 225 and 500 litre oak barrels for 10 months.

Falcoeira Branco is a wine of great emotion, serious and austere, distinguished by its unique character. It has no fruity notes, instead offering a liquid granite sensation, with subtle herbal nuances and a chalky palate. This complexity and depth of flavour make this wine a true gem for connoisseurs, overcoming the adversities of the year with an extraordinary final product.
