The white 2020 Mi Verdadejo is a characterful varietal Verdejo with ripeness (14.5% alcohol) and freshness. It was sourced from very old, ungrafted, dry-farmed vines and was vinified from the pressing of the full clusters and aged in barrel with the fine lees for nine months. It has notes of ripe yellow fruit, pollen and spices, and it's round and full-bodied, with pungent and persistent flavors. This is very different from the majority of Verdejo wines out there. 1,590 bottles were filled in June 2021. The wine is evolving slowly and should last. It's closed with a glass stopper.

Description
Made with grapes from a Verdejo vineyard, Mi Verdadejo is a very characteristic and complex wine, with a great personality thanks to its winemaking process. It represents the austerity of the place where it is produced and is an authentic expression of its environment. We are talking about a very special and unique wine, ideal to accompany different types of meat. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level and has a continental climate.
Winemaking
Mi Verdadejo is a wine that comes from old vineyards not replanted in sand and gravel soil. They are believed to be around 100 years old.
It is made following the Burgundy style, with slow, direct pressing and fermentation in French barrels for eight months, ageing on the lees.
Taste
The texture of this wine is smooth and rich, creamy, with notes of sweet fruit. There is also a touch of salty minerality in its aroma.
Its acidity gives it a perfect balance and it is an elegant and long lasting wine. Moreover, it is a very complex and delicious wine thanks to the style used for its creation.
