The Loire Valley in France is known as the "garden of France", and it is between this valley and the Lyon Valley that is located the Domaine Delesvaux winery whose owners, Philippe Delesvaux and his wife Catherine, created the elegant red wine Delesvaux Anjou Rouge Le Roc, which is intensely fruity and has fine tannins.
Delesvaux Anjou Rouge Le Roc is made from Cabernet Fanc grapes. It is vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees. It is then pumped over with air and the fermentation is malolactic.
It is then aged for 7 months in stainless steel tanks and bottled without filtration or fining. A minimum of sulphites is used, which are extracted from the area where the vineyards are grown.
As is usually the case with this type of wine, Delesvaux Anjou Rouge Le Roc is a very fruity red wine, with floral and herbaceous notes. It has a clean and very frank aroma, and it feels quite ripe and dense. Thanks to its winemaking process, it is a high quality organic wine.
The finest and most elegant wine
The red wine Delesvaux Anjou Rouge Le Roc is so elegant and fine, that it is perfect for business meetings or romantic dinners. It is a calm wine with fine tannins, which remains frank and digestible, and which goes very well with a plate of cold meats.
Due to its great vitality, it can also be shared at a dinner with friends or at a family gathering. It is advisable to serve it at 16°C for a better tasting.
