The 2020 Cune Reserva was produced with a blend of Tempranillo with 15% Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo from Haro, fermented in 20,000-liter stainless steel vats and matured in new and used French and American oak barrels for 18 months. It has 14% alcohol and good freshness and balance, reflecting the warm conditions of the year. It's serious and harmonious, classical and polished, with some incipient notes of complexity. It develops aromas in the glass in a short time. It has abundant, fine, slightly dusty tannins. 2020s are quite approachable, without the exuberance of other warm vintages. This is very good for the year. 600,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.

Description
Cune Reserva is a truly unique red wine from D.O.Ca. La Rioja. It has been produced by Cune, the original winery of the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, with a long history in winemaking.
It is a blend of Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Garnacha and Graciano. The grapes used come from our own estates known as Caballeros, Santo Tomás and Sarnamoros, all of them located in Rioja Alta, in the villages of Rodezno, Villalba and Haro.
It is a perfect wine to enjoy with meats, fish, stews and cheeses, among others.
Winemaking
Cune Reserva wine is made using grapes from our own vineyards, located in La Rioja Alta. There, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in 20,000 kg stainless steel tanks, where different types of traditional pumping over, pumping over, delestage and pigeage are alternated.
Subsequently, the wine is aged in American and French oak barrels for 18 months, thus acquiring its characteristic finesse.
After natural clarification, the wine rests for about a year in the bottle until it is ready to be released onto the market.
Taste
A wine that with its broad qualities is pleasant on the palate. Its round tannins provide great pleasure and the fruity character offers a magnificent balance. The finish is fresh and pleasant, enveloped with the memories that come from its ageing and which invite you to share it.
