Description
Clos Lentiscus Wow Wow is a red wine made exclusively from Syrah grapes by the Clos Lentiscus winery in Penedès (Catalonia).
The grapes used to make this exquisite red wine come from vineyards planted in sandy and calcareous soils and grown in the protected Garraf Natural Park (Penedès).
This is a natural space that is under the influence of the Mediterranean sea breeze and cultivated with organic and biodynamic principles by the Avinyó family.
Elaboration
The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated for 20 days with skins and without stems. Finally, it undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is then fermented in amphorae. Afterwards, it is bottled without filtering, fining or sulphiting.
Taste
Clos Lentiscus Wow Wow is a red wine with surprising fruity aromas, herbal notes and spicy touches. In the mouth it is juicy, light, vibrant and fresh. A wine with a persistent mineral finish.
