Amanda Rosado de Lágrima is a natural rosé wine made from Garnacha Tintorera by Alfredo Maestro of VT Castilla-León.
The grapes used for this wine come from the El Cuchillejo vineyard, which is over 60 years old, located in the municipality of Olmos de Peñafiel (Valladolid).
The vineyard was cultivated on clay-limestone soils and is located 850 metres above sea level.
The grapes are harvested by hand. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and crushed without maceration. It is then fermented in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels with indigenous yeasts.
Amanda Rosado de Lágrima is naturally clarified in the open air during the cold winter so it does not need fining, filtration and malolactic fermentation. It is also aged for 4 months.
This wine is bottled naturally under clean conditions. As it is a natural wine, it is possible to find impurities, but in no case does it mean that this wine is in bad condition.
Amanda Rosado de Lágrima is a fine and distinguished wine, with intense fruity, spicy and citric aromas and a mineral background that will delight you. In the mouth it is fresh, ample, with a very fruity passage and a balanced acidity that offers persistence. It is quite deep on the palate, and provokes interesting sensations.
