Description
AT Roca Cantalllops Xarel.lo d'AT Roca shows the more mineral Penedès character of an altitude Xarel-lo.
This white wine comes from the Cantallops vineyard, planted on calcareous soils that give the wine great longevity and ageing potential, allowing it to be enjoyed for years to come.
Winemaking
Made from Xarel-lo grapes, the wine is aged on its lees for 8 months, 70% in 500L French oak barrels and 30% in ovoid cement tanks. The viticulture is organic and regenerative, following the principles of traditional Mediterranean dry farming.
Taste
AT Roca Cantalllops Xarel.lo d'AT Roca is intense, frank in aromas, where white fruit with aniseed notes stand out against a background of pastry with light smoky notes.
On the palate it is full-bodied, fresh and mineral, with a very well-balanced acidity. It is powerful, elegant and creamy. In its evolution, the aromas of fresh fruit stand out with notes of brioche and butter over light smoky notes, leaving a long and persistent aftertaste.
