Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
They didn't produce any Viognier in 2014, so I tasted the just-bottled 2015 Viognier, which also saw 20% of its volume fermented in new French oak barriques where it matured for six months. The nose has all the exotic notes of the variety, with peach and apricot notes, some floral undertones, and the oak is only in the background. Viognier is not a grape with high acidity and the challenge is to keep the freshness. There are flavors of white and yellow fruits and the classical slightly bitter finish. I like these wines when they show their exuberant youth, and while you don't need to worry as they show quite well three to four years after the vintage, I like to drink them younger rather than older. 28,660 bottles produced.
