Description
Mestres Clos Nostre Senyor is a highly prestigious sparkling wine produced by the renowned Mestres winery in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the birthplace of cava in Catalonia. This Brut Nature Gran Reserva is produced from a careful selection of native grapes: 55% Xarel-lo, 25% Macabeo and 20% Parellada. All of the grapes come from old vineyards, where each vine is carefully cultivated to guarantee the maximum quality of the fruit.
Winemaking
The winemaking process is meticulous, beginning with fermentation in oak barrels for 10 months, followed by long ageing in the bottle on the lees for eight years. This extensive ageing process gives the wine exceptional complexity and structure, the hallmarks of Mestres' top-of-the-range sparkling wines.
Taste
Mestres Clos Nostre Senyor offers a sophisticated and creamy taste, with a silky texture that envelops the palate.
