The 2022 Alomado was produced with a field blend of Tempranillo with some Viura and Calagraño from a vineyard called Finca Montecillo that was planted in 1980 on very stony soils. The destemmed grapes were co-fermented in concrete and matured in used 500-liter oak barrels for 16 months. It has notes of berries, herbs and some spices, vanilla and cinnamon, with a touch of smoke. It has controlled ripeness and comes in at 14% alcohol, and it has a medium to full-bodied palate, where the tannins are fine and the mouthfeel chalky and dry, with seriousness. 9,989 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024.

Joint harvest of white and red varieties, selection table, alcoholic fermentation in French oak vats with destemmed grapes and skin soaking for 23 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing for 16 months in used 500-liter French oak barrels.
