Aged for 14 months in American oak barrels.
Ramón Bilbao Crianza is a versatile red wine from Rioja, made by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao with the most prestigious red grape variety in the country: Tempranillo.
It is a perfect wine to enjoy with cold meats, semi-cured cheeses, mushrooms, a wide variety of meats and even blue fish.
The Ramón Bilbao winery is a pioneer in the art of ageing. Its techniques combine classic and innovation to create a quality red wine. The maturation, grape selection, fermentation, evolution and completion of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are exhaustively controlled.
The grapes are harvested manually and selectively from the vineyards of Haro, after a thorough monitoring of the entire ripening process of the Tempranillo grapes, which come from soils with clay-limestone characteristics.
Once in the winery, the selected grapes are vinified separately, extracting the maximum potential from each one.
For its production, Ramón Bilbao Crianza undergoes a temperature-controlled fermentation process. This wine is aged in American oak barrels for 14 months. After that, the wine was aged for a further 8 months in its underground bottle cellar for further refinement.
It is a pleasant red wine where you can perceive the integration of fruit aromas with warm spicy notes that appear naturally in the aged Tempranillo.
It is balanced, with good acidity and a perfect integration of tannins.
A fresh, balanced, harmonious and balsamic red wine.
Ramón Bilbao Crianza is a classic, renewed, fresh, harmonious and balsamic wine with a magnificent balance in its aromas and a strong structure.
Ramón Bilbao Crianza is one of the most balanced wines in existence. Have you tried it yet? Tell us about your experience!
