Description
Radikon Ribolla is undoubtedly the most sought-afterblue label orange wine from Radikon. This delight is characterised by its intensity and complexity. Its deep orange/red hue positions it as an extreme example of orange wines.
Winemaking
Vinification requires spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration of skins in wooden vats, without temperature control and without the addition of oenological additives. During this process, the wine is pumped over 3-4 times a day until the alcoholic fermentation is complete.
The grape variety used is Ribolla Gialla, originally from the prestigious region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Italy. The wine is presented in a 50 cl. format.
Taste
Radikon Ribolla is distinguished by its tannic character, with a solid and dense structure. On the palate, its intensity is such that it could be mistaken for a red wine. The nose evokes an infusion of fruit, herbs and spices, while the palate is round and with polished tannin. The aftertaste is very long, making it a real beast of a wine that improves with aeration.
