The 2023 Blanco was produced with a blend of 40% Moscatel, 33% Macabeo, 20% Merseguera and 7% Viognier with a moderate 13% alcohol and good acidity. It has notes of chamomile, fennel and a citrus twist. It didn't go through malolactic and was bottled unoaked. This has a more reductive style and was just bottled when I tasted it, with notes of hay and straw in the background. The wine is clean, pure and fresh. He likes to bottle this style early, but it needs time to open up. 35,000 bottles. It was bottled in November 2023.
