Description
Matassa Brutal Orange Macabeu is a natural white wine made entirely from Macabeu grapes by the Matassa winery, which is located in the south of France.
The wines produced by the Matassa winery are characterised by their quality, low sulphur content and the absence of auxiliary additives, classifying them among the best.
Winemaking
The grapes used in its production are grown in exquisite soils, rich in vegetation and minerals typical of European Mediterranean areas. The Matassa Brutal Orange Macabeu is made by hand harvesting the grapes by hand. The grapes are carefully cultivated to guarantee their purity and good condition during the maceration process.
The juices are subjected to a special ageing process of whole bunches, with alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, in 500-litre oak barrels. The wine is then fermented and aged for 4 months in the same oak barrels.

Matassa Brutal Orange Macabeu is a natural, calm, aromatic and very fragrant wine. It is classified among the Orange wines, as its vinification process gives it a golden colour, reminiscent of oranges.
It is a smooth, dry wine, with a percentage of 10.5% alcohol, which stands out for its smooth, velvety taste and its fruity aroma, revealing good tension and clarity.
