This wine, made at Finca La Moreira, in the heart of Condado do Tea, embodies the Atlantic soul of the region.
Winemaking
At Marqués de Vizhoja, the vineyards breathe pure air, with a climate marked by the influence of the river Miño. The grapes, of indigenous varieties, are nourished by granitic and sandy soils, which give them that characteristic touch of minerality. The grapes are harvested by hand, because here we value detail, patience and respect for the fruit. After selection, the grapes undergo a cold maceration process that enhances their aromas, followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel. All to keep their essence intact.
Taste
When you pour a glass of Marqués de Vizhoja, the first thing you notice is its bright straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. It is one of those wines that invite you to take the first sniff before drinking it.
