Along with the Fourchaume, the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin is the most serious of Grossot's wines this year, unfurling in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, wet stones, white flowers and oatmeal. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tight-knit and incisive, with good concentration and a firm, mineral finish.
