Description
Torrent de la Bruixa is an exceptional wine from the region of Catalonia, Spain. It stands out for being an organic and vegan wine, made with environmentally friendly techniques and without using animal products in its production process.
Winemaking
From the vineyard, organic agriculture is practised, avoiding the use of chemical products and prioritising biodynamic techniques. The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully selecting the grapes at their optimum ripeness. In the winery, a 2-day maceration with the grape skins is carried out, which adds complexity and character to the wine.
Fermentation begins spontaneously, using indigenous yeasts present in the grapes. This process is carried out in stainless steel tanks and then fermentation is completed in the bottle itself, generating a natural carbonation.
It is important to note that this wine is not subjected to filtration or clarification processes, thus preserving its authenticity and respecting the natural characteristics of the grapes as much as possible.
