There is also a red 2019 O Gran Mein Tinto produced with the same philosophy as the white; the best of the best to create the grand vin blending varieties and vineyards. In this case, it's Brancellao from Osebe, Caíño Longo from Ribeira and Garnacha Tintorera from Avia and Toro, with a final breakdown of 49% Caíño Longo, 48% Brancellao and 3% Garnacha Tintorera with 12.8% alcohol and good freshness. After fermenting in stainless steel, part of the wine was transferred to two 225-liter barrels, one 400-liter and another 500-liter one, and the rest of the wine was kept in stainless steel for nine months. It's dark and has a nose of wild berries and herbs, graphite and dark spices. It has some creaminess and also a rustic, earthy touch with dusty tannins and pungent flavors. 2019 was a very good year for red varieties. They harvested in October, and the grapes ripened properly without over-ripeness. 2,800 bottles and 600 magnums were produced. It was bottled in July 2020.
