Description
Tamerán Marmajuelo is a white wine made from the native grape Marmajuelo. It comes from the hectares located on the border of the municipalities of Santa Lucía and San Bartolomé de Tirajana, from vines grown on volcanic soils located 700 metres above sea level. These elements are determining factors in the flavour and aromas of this wine.
The Marmajuelo de Tartameran wine is a wine with a Canarian flavour, as the grape variety with which it is made is one of the most emblematic in Gran Canaria, and for this reason its flavour takes you back to the terroir from which it comes.
Elaboration
The production of Tamerán Marmajuelo wine follows the philosophy of the winery, which ensures that all cultivation techniques respect the natural expression of the fruit, without the addition of chemicals or human intervention.
After the harvest, the fruit goes to the winery where it is fermented with native yeasts for 25 hours and then undergoes an ageing period of 9 months on its lees.
Taste
Tamerán Marmajuelo is a very aromatic wine, with citric tones, floral notes and saline touches. It is a wine that adds freshness to the palate, due to its particular mineral touch. It is a white wine with a very accentuated acidity, leaving a long and persistent finish on the palate.
