Description
Predicador is one of the best-selling reds from the Benjamín Romeo winery, with a flavor profile composed of four varieties of Vitis vinifera. Like the rest of the winery's wines, it is made entirely in the Rioja municipality of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, known for its sandy and clay-limestone soils.
It is arobust, dry and deep wine, ideal for lovers of red wines with personality, a true delight!
Winemaking
Both destemming and harvesting are carried out manually, with a coupage that includes the Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha varieties. After pressing, the wine undergoes a fermentation period of at least ten days before aging in oak barrels for 18 months.
Taste
Its taste is woody, acidic and with a balsamic nuance reminiscent of the flavors of the Mediterranean. Its aroma evokes mineral and earthy notes.
A red wine worth tasting.
This wine is one of Benjamín Romeo's great successes, as it combines the exceptional quality of similar products, such as La Cueva del Contador, but at a much more accessible price. It is perfect to accompany stews and strong meats such as duck or game.
As an additional curiosity, its name is based on a character of the famous actor Clint Eastwood: The Preacher, from the movie Pale Rider.
