The red 2020 Tinto was produced with Tinto Fino (a.k.a. Tempranillo) grapes from ancient vines in the village of Fuentenebro at 1,000+ meters above sea level. It fermented in small containers—oak, clay, concrete and stainless steel—and matured in barriques and oak foudres for 18 months. It has a ripe nose, 14% alcohol, plenty of spices, toast and smoke and a juicy, full-bodied palate and abundant tannins, a little powdery, with a dry finish. 45,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2022.

Winemaking
Fermented in concrete tanks, stainless steel, oak and amphorae. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and foudres. It remains in the bottle for 12 months before being released on the market.
