The 2022 Manda Huevos Blanco Carramainas was produced with old-vine Macabeo and a 5% dash of Garnacha Blanca from their Carramainas vineyard. 2022 shows more concentration despite slightly higher yields; the whites are very expressive and have notes of fennel and aromatic herbs. It fermented and matured in used 500-liter barrels for one year. The oak is well seasoned, and it marks less the wine, which is textured, probably because of the extended contact with the lees. It has good ripeness without excess at 13.8% alcohol and concentration with good acidity and freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.31 and 6.6 grams of acidity. They usually keep the bottles for six to seven months after it's bottled because they feel the wine improves a lot with time. 3,408 bottles were filled in June 2024.
