The super expressive 2020 El Hombre Bala, their entry-level Garnacha from different vineyards in the village of Cadalso de los Vidrios, has around 20% purchased grapes from growers and the rest are from their own vines in this cool and balanced vintage. The vines are organically farmed, and the wine fermented with some 70% full clusters and indigenous yeasts and then matured in used oak vats and 500-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It's juicy and tasty, with some meaty notes, hints of watermelon, blackberry and a smoky twist. It's very fine and has freshness and is very Cadalso, with the grainy tannins from the village, but it's not heavy. 27,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2022.
