Bottled with 18 grams per liter of residual sugar and nine grams per liter of total acidity, the 2022 Riesling Tradition shows a clear and aromatic passion fruit aroma with a crystalline, rocky note. Entirely from upper sites in Kiedrich, this is a lush, savory, fruity and grippy Rheingau Riesling with persistent saline acidity and crunchy phenolic grip. 11% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted at the domaine in August 2023.

Description
Robert Weil Riesling Tradition is an exceptional wine from the prestigious Rheingau region in Germany. This wine is made exclusively from the Riesling grape variety, which occupies 100% of the winery's 90 hectares of vineyards. Founded in 1875 by Dr. Robert Weil, the winery has been run by the same family for four generations, and is currently under the management of Wilhelm Weil.
Winemaking
Winemaking follows strict, quality-oriented practices, with rigorous pruning to control yields and selective harvesting by hand. In the cellar, the wines are vinified with the greatest possible care to preserve their purity and character. Robert Weil Riesling Tradition is bottled with 18 grams of residual sugar per litre and 9 grams of total acidity per litre, achieving a perfect balance. With an alcohol content of 11%, this wine is presented with a screw cap to ensure the preservation of its aromas and flavours.
