Description
The Régis Rossignol-Changarnier winery located in France, was founded in 1966, and since then, it has produced a great amount of excellent quality wines, such as the Domaine Régis Rossignol-Changarnier Volnay wine.
Volnay is home to a large part of the vineyards of the winery founded by Régis Rossignol in 1966, some of which have been cultivated for more than 50 years.
Winemaking
The organic wine Domaine Régis Rossignol-Changarnier Volnay is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in a respectful way on a chalky clay soil.
At the Régis Rossignol-Changarnier winery, a traditional vinification process is carried out, macerating for 12 days and the grapes are harvested entirely by hand.
The wine is then aged for more than 18 months in oak barrels, followed by a further three years in the bottle. From the cultivation to the process carried out in the winery, everything is done with the utmost care, with minimum intervention and without the use of chemicals.
Taste
This red wine has aromas of wild forest fruits, floral notes and hints of spices. It has a long, lingering finish and is fresh and delicate on the palate. It has a balanced acidity and fine tannins.
