The 2021 Altos de Losada is now a vino de villa from Valtuille de Arriba, a village wine from old vines on clay soils. It's medium to full-bodied and powerful but without excess, with noticeable good-quality oak that provides some creaminess and spiciness but that is integrated and subtler than in the past. It's neat and very good in its style. 14% alcohol. It matured in 2,000-liter oak foudres for 15 months. 20,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.
