Description
Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'Alba is made from the Nebbiolo grape variety. It comes from various villages such as Monteu Roero, Santo Stefano Roero and Vezza d'Alba. The vines, which are between 27 and 33 years old, face southwest and west.
Winemaking
With a yield of 45 hectolitres per hectare, the harvest for this particular wine took place between the beginning of October. Fermentation and maceration are carried out for 20 days in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is fully developed and the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
Taste
Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'Alba has an intense ruby red colour. On the nose, there are evident notes of red fruits, strawberries, blackcurrants and raspberries. On the palate, it is faithful to the Nebbiolo variety, offering great freshness and structure. It is a wine that combines tradition, technique and passion, reflecting the essence of a region and the mastery of a family dedicated to the art of winemaking.
