Description
Bruno Giacosa Dolcetto D'Alba Falletto comes from the prestigious lands of Falletto di Serralunga and Lirano di Sinio. This wine is made from the Dolcetto grape variety, which is harvested around the beginning of September. The exposure of the vineyards is to the southwest/west, which gives them an ideal light and climate for the cultivation of this variety.
Winemaking
With a yield of 55 hectolitres per hectare, the fermentation and maceration process is carried out for 8 days in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation is completely developed, and the ageing process is carried out for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, followed by one month in the bottle. This wine stands out for its alcohol content of 14.5% vol. and a total acidity of 5.50 g/L.
Taste
When tasting the Bruno Giacosa Dolcetto D'Alba Falletto, we find a wine with a bright ruby red colour with purple reflections. Its aroma is intense and complex, typical of the Dolcetto variety, with expressive notes of ripe fruit. On the palate, it is vigorous and structured, offering a balanced complexity that delights the senses.
