Red wines you should try this summer

Summer is here and the weather is ideal for having a drink and enjoying with friends. Although the idea – especially in Spain – that red wine gets along better with the winter is quite established, at Gourmet Hunters we break with this myth.

There are several red wines that can be a great summer option. However, in hot weather, it is always preferable to look for more fragrant and lighter wines, ideally without much intervention and with a low alcohol content. In short, they should not be cloying and should give us a sensation of freshness. Or as our expert sommelier, Claudio Comella, says for summer, “The ideal is a red wine with a white wine soul“.

Here you can find our most recommended bottles of red wine to try this summer.
