Spanish natural red wines that you must try

Spain has a great repertoire of natural wines to offer. Here we share with you a range of options of Spanish red wines made with minimal intervention, no added sulphites, no fining and no filtering.

 

1. La Vinya del Boter 2020

The young red wine La Vinya del Boter 2020 of the Amor Per La Terra winery is a wine made from a blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Parellada, with only 11% alcohol content, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and bottled unclarified and unfiltered.

 

2. Al Tall Negre 2019

The Celler Tomàs Torres offers us the young red wine Al Tall Negre 2019. A fruity and juicy wine, 100% Grenache and 13% alcohol. It undergoes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and is bottled unclarified, unfiltered and with no added sulphur dioxide.

 

3. La Senda 1.9.8.4. 2020

La Senda 1.9.8.4. 2020 is a young crianza red wine from Bodegas y Viñedos La Senda, made entirely from Mencía grapes, with 13% alcohol and 8 months of ageing in oak barrels and foudres.

 

4. Oriol Artigas El Rall 2019

The young red wine Oriol Artigas El Rall 2019 by Oriol Artigas Viticultor is a wine made from Merlot, Grenache, Syrah, Mataró and Sumoll. It undergoes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged for 7 months.

5. Els Bardissots Oriental Tinto 2019

Els Bardissots Oriental Tinto 2019 is a young red wine made from the Ull de Llebre grape variety with only 10% alcohol content and aged for four months in stainless steel tanks.
