Description
Cazé Thibaut Le Chemin des Plants is an exceptional vintage champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Les Chemin des Plants vineyard on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne.
Winemaking
The must ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels. Subsequently, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining and undergoes a second fermentation on its natural lees for a minimum ageing period of 48 months. This champagne has a dosage of 2.2 grams of sugar per litre and is classified as Extra Brut.
Taste
Cazé Thibaut Le Chemin des Plants offers a hedonistic and pleasurable sensory experience. Its bouquet is a complex and delicious blend of warm milk, cream, croissant, comté cheese, hazelnut cream, white chocolate, peach and ripe orchard fruits. On the palate, this champagne is crystalline and structured, with an almost non-existent bubble. Its flavour is predominantly vinous with hints of butter, but mainly stands out for its notes of lemon oil, mint, old oak, salt, plums, cake and chalk, offering a superlative and very rewarding taste experience for the palate.
