Elaboration
Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this wine is made from the free-run juice of grapes from a 60-year-old vineyard.
The must ferments in oak and acacia barrels. Subsequently, it is aged for 5 years in the bottle, without adding any expedition liqueur (Brut Nature).
Taste
Can Ràfols dels Caus Blanc de Negres Brut Nature is characterised by its elegance and creaminess. It is a complex and very expressive Tempranillo, where ripe fruit aromas are predominant. On the palate, it is tasty, with an outstanding acidity and a very fine carbonic. The bubbles are creamy and elegant, short on the palate, allowing us to appreciate clear oxidative notes. These notes are complemented by flavours of dried fruits, lemon zest and red apple, offering a unique taste experience.
Halfway between Champagne and Cava, this wine is the result of a small experimental production of the winery located in Avinyonet del Penedés. Those who have had the opportunity to taste it in the winery itself, highlight its great quality. With the passage of time, this wine has evolved impressively in the bottle, becoming a real gem for lovers of good wine. It is, without a doubt, a drink that every wine lover should try.
