I hadn't encountered the single-vineyard Pino for a while, as it was not produced in 2013, and the 2015 Pino was not bottled when I last tasted at this address in the spring of 2016. The wine is direct, intense, mineral and balsamic with some resinous aromas, and there's a coolness within the Mediterranean profile of this bottling. This is a wine that might be a little closed and not so expressive early on and then develops tremendously in bottle. 2,200 bottles were filled in August 2016.
Between 12ºC and 14ºC
Fermented in wood tubs and aged in used oak barrels of 300 and 500 litres capacity.
