Description
The wine Le Coste Rosato is born in the municipality of Gradoli, near the Lago di Bolsena in Lazio. This organic rosé wine is produced by Gianmarco Antonuzi and Clementine Bouveron at the Le Coste winery. It is made from the Aleatico grape variety. It is important to note that the grapes used for this wine come from an old vineyard of more than 50 years old.
Winemaking
The organically grown Aleatico grapes undergo a wild fermentation with only a few hours of skin contact. Once pressed, the wine is aged for one year in different sized and old barrels, followed by a few additional months in the bottle.
Taste
Le Coste Rosato is a real revelation for the palate. It combines an ethereal and elegant lightness with a very marked aromatic and assertive character. Its tasting notes evoke the freshness of ripe melon, accompanied by subtle but intense hints of game and sage.
