Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Picked on September 21 and still aging in 225-liter barrels, the 2014 Ingelheimer Horn Spätburgunder GG offers a deep and generous bouquet of perfectly ripe red fruits, as well as floral aromas and noble toast flavors. Draped in silk and satin, this is a full-bodied, sweet and juicy Pinot Noir from 22-year-old vines that are planted on limestone with sandy loam sols. This terroir reveals an elegant, ripe and generous fruit and a sweet, intense finish. It's a full-bodied and charming wine with some slightly dry tannins. To be bottled in November 2016 (866 bottles only).
