Description
It is a red wine from a unique plot, since at the beginning it was unlikely that the grapes were grown there. That is why, in 1981, when Arturo and Kike's grandfather acquired it, many called it "crazy".
However, this was not a hindrance for this place to produce one of the wines that best reflects the specific features of the local climate.
So that "madness" became iconic in the Ebros area.
Winemaking
Finca de los Locos was made from 80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano grapes, which were harvested by hand from plots located at an altitude of 520 meters above sea level.
The clean grapes were vatted by gravity in stainless steel tanks. Finca de Locos undergoes daily punchdowns and is aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels.
Taste
It is a red wine with a delicate aroma, accompanied by subtle aromas, loaded with minerals and intensifying the flavor of the wood aging.
It is fresh when tasted, and its structure makes it long, so it remains in the mouth for quite a long time.

Finca de los Locos stands out for having an appropriate balance, in which the black fruit stands out in a subtle way, making it perfect to combine with different dishes. It is perfect as an accompaniment to red meats, game, stews and casseroles.
This is a benchmark product at Bodegas Artuke and in La Rioja itself. Its distinguished constitution goes from its history, flavor and presentation.
