Description
Dario Prinčič Ribolla Gialla is an orange wine made from the Ribolla Gialla grape, this wine comes from a 10 hectare vineyard with a soil rich in marl and sandstone. The vines, with an average age of 35 years, are tended following organic practices, and harvesting is done by hand, ensuring the selection of the best grapes.
Winemaking
In the winery, spontaneous fermentation takes place in open wooden barrels, with 35 days of skin maceration. This orange wine is aged for 30 months in oak barrels and an additional 3 months in stainless steel tanks. No filtering, clarification or sulphur is added at bottling.
Taste
Dario Prinčič Ribolla Gialla is a wine with complex and evocative flavours: dried herbs, twigs, smoky honey and an electric acidity that lifts the whole. The tannins, meanwhile, are fleshy and resinous, lending structure and character to the wine.
